Emergency Plan & Facility Management Support Services
Emergency Plan Support Packet (EPSP)
This service includes the review of the property's emergency preparation, response, and recovery programs. One aspect of this evaluation will be evaluating individual staff’s readiness to address emergencies and be able to attend to the community’s needs. The staff will be encouraged to prepare their homes, plan to respond for their own family, and then be available to help with the property.
In reviewing your property's emergency preparation, the following components will be evaluated: first aid supplies, water supplies, equipment to provide cooling and electrical power, tools to respond to clear trees and debris, sandbag and sand resources, flashlights, and batteries, signs for each property to alert first responders to units that do not require checking.
Data backup and retrieval programs will be noted to get the property operating after an event. Updating the laptop computer will be part of the preparation to minimize the interruption to the association's operation. Surge protection for computers, equipment, and timers will be included on the preparation checklist.
Communication systems with power backup and means to disseminate information will be evaluated. Phone text and email alert systems will be assessed. A central information site will be identified so that residents can find the most updated information. Access to the facilities and offices that depend on power will be evaluated, and non-powered options will be identified. Loss of power gate access procedures will be documented and available to volunteers and staff to facilitate gate-opening functions during an emergency power outage.
Individual staff members will be trained to respond in an emergency and assigned a role in the response and recovery efforts. Response and recovery duties will be assigned to staff, Board Members, members of the emergency response committee, or neighborhood watch volunteers. An annual property event for the community will be held, and there will be a supplies and information expo at the clubhouse or other property location. First aid, water, food, and battery replenishments will be scheduled.
We can provide a boilerplate emergency plan document that you can adjust to your property's particular needs. The Emergency Plan Development Packet includes a draft of the Emergency Plan and a Checklist for Emergency Planning. Your manager will be responsible for amending the documents provided in the EPDP packet to be specific to your property.
For an additional charge, you can choose StrongerHOA to undertake the editing. The Board or Compliance Committee can mark up the original draft, which will be reviewed by StrongerHOA one final time. Additional editions will incur supplementary charges, which must be negotiated before further editing.
This charge includes scheduling an uninterrupted 60-minute Zoom call with your current manager or Compliance Committee Chairperson.

You will receive a draft Guest waiver if your property needs this critical document. A Social Committee handbook index and a charter are provided in boilerplate format, as well as a draft alcohol policy and guest waiver.
